CAN I CLAIM? - WHIPLASH

The term “whiplash” is used to refer to a range of neck injuries which are caused by sudden movement (and, in some cases, twisting) of the head and neck. The damage is caused as the head snaps forward and then sharply back again. Symptoms of whiplash injury can include neck pain, back pain, pins and needles in the arms and legs and headaches. Some sufferers start to show symptoms immediately after the accident/incident that causes the damage. Others experience them after a few days have passed.

Whiplash injuries are very common amongst people who have been involved in car accidents but they occur in all sorts of other circumstances too (for example, whilst playing sport or being on a roller coaster).
